Mini Sessions! | West Hartford Premier Boudoir
One of the biggest questions that have been cycling around is news about the new mini boudoir sessions I offered back in December 2021. What are Mini's? How are they different? What can I expect in a Mini session different from a full boudoir session? Well, ladies and gents, I have the answers!
MINI’S!
Mini's were an idea I had for a long time in the back of my mind but finally implemented back in 2020. As you can see, I had plenty of downtime during the shutdown to think of fun, new ideas for my people! In a typical boudoir photo session, one Queen will have the entire day with me, along with hair and makeup, unlimited shoot time, and coaching. My thought was, what if we did an event? My vision was to have multiple clients come in as an event and have an incredible, fun experience just as a full boudoir session would be!
With this event, multiple ladies could come into the studio and enjoy the essence of a full boudoir experience at a lighter rate and condensed time frame. The idea took off. Ladies and gents, introducing…
Mini Sessions!
It was perfect. Event time! Two outfits, hair & makeup, and a glass of champagne! Our ladies would feel the exceptional pampering experience they would in a full boudoir shoot. The excitement is real, ladies and gents! Still, I knew I could make this event even more fun and exciting!
Then it hit me.
Giveaways!!!
I absolutely love Giveaways and everything they represent. It was close to Christmas, and what better than to present an opportunity to win a free Mini Session?! Still, I knew I could do better. What about a five-day giveaway. This was going to be the most memorable Christmas season yet!
I orchestrated a 5-day giveaway that would ultimately lead to a free Mini Session. It would be a thank you to all the ladies who have stood by me and supported this business. From Starbucks gift cards to full spa days, the 5-day giveaway was a complete success. In return, I received precious stories, personal accounts of bravery and triumph, and shared photos of loved ones as our heroes. It was a wonderful week filled with joy and inspiration.

These were my favorite words! I was SO excited when it was time to announce the final winner of the giveaway event. This winner was to receive the FREE Mini boudoir session. Someone's Christmas was about to be MADE! The suspense!

It’s time to schedule a phone meeting with me to discuss your session! Here is where we can go over all the details you need for your shoot. These phone sessions usually take about 15 minutes. We will talk about what you want to look like during your shoot, the vibe you want to create, the makeup style you would like, and outfit ideas!
It's the day of your shoot! You have just arrived at the studio and walked through our doors. What comes next? We are already on it!
First, you will be welcomed and escorted to your personal dressing room. Here, you will change into your personal robe that you were asked to bring from home to start your hair and makeup with one of our professional makeup artists. Hair and makeup of your choice will take 40-45 minutes, and soft, loose curls for hair (unless specified)! After hair and makeup are finished, we will reveal the final look to you. Here is where you can ask for any changes or adjustments that would help make you feel more personalized!
Nailed it!
Hair and makeup are complete! Off to your private dressing room you go! Your outfits will be already hung up and ready to go. All garments will need to be steamed or pressed before arrival since mini’s can vary in time! After getting you dolled up in your first outfit- it's photo time! No worries, you will be coached from start to finish. I have over 10 years of experience and will guide you through posing and prompt every transition from room to room. I got you!
Time to change!
After taking all photos in your first outfit, you will be instructed to change into your final look! Depending on the mini session, fine art nudes may or may not be included. Everything will be discussed in full detail during your planning call before your shoot day. For peace of mind, we still will ask!

BEAUTIFUL!
You did it! After taking all photos, you will be escorted back to your dressing room, where you can change back into your personal clothes. After you are changed, you will be able to set up a date and time to come back and see all your gorgeous photos! Here, it is an only buy what you love policy. You will have the option to purchase anything al la carte, or you can choose one of our collections! Choosing which photos is the BEST and most exciting part!!

You picked out all of your favorites! This probably was NOT easy! Your products are now being created and ready to take home within 4-5 weeks for handmade leather bound albums. Looking for a few prints? Prints 16x20 or smaller can be printed straight from our studio and mailed within days!
