Boudoir FAQs

How far out are you booked?

I am usually booked 4-6 weeks in advance and only have weekend availability during the winter. Please reach out 12 or more weeks in advance to ensure we have enough time to get you in the studio for your boudoir shoot and have plenty of time to get your handcrafted album in your hands.

What is your turnaround time?

Your boudoir photos are ready to view within one week of your session, and we will go through them together at your ordering session at my West Hartford studio. Once your favorites are chosen the retouching, and album design takes about a couple weeks, and the album is hand made over 4-5 weeks.

Do you include hair and makeup?

YES! Hair and makeup will happen at my photography studio, all while sipping on some champagne.

Should I get a spray tan?

I prefer no spray tans; they can streak, turn orange, or be patchy.

Do I need to bring lingerie?

Yes, I want you to feel your best in lingerie, and we will plan your session based on your likes and preferences. I do have a few lace robes, a long wedding veil that any client is welcome to use.

Should I wax?

If you have never waxed, plan it out, so you have had at least one wax 10-12 weeks before your shoot to see how your skin reacts. If you handled it well with no skin irritation and you didn't mind the pain go back again about a week before your boudoir session. All Dolled Up in Southington is a popular place for any waxing or esthetician needs as well as a fantastic hair salon.

Do I have to get naked for my boudoir shoot?

Why not?! Here's the deal, BODYSCAPES... gorgeous, classic, timeless, fine-art photographs. You are going to want to be photographed in the nude because these seem to be most client's favorites! All nude poses are photographed tastefully and of course, only if you feel comfortable.

Do you have a studio, or will you come to me?

I have a beautiful 1700 sq foot studio in West Hartford that I photograph the majority of my boudoir sessions in. However, I do travel and offering other settings.
