Do I need hair and makeup?

Be hair and makeup ready for your headshot. Bring a brush or comb and your makeup kit for any last-minute touch-ups.

Makeup should be slightly heavier than everyday wear.

I don’t know how to pose. Will you guide me through the session?

I got you! I will show you all of the poses I would like you to do throughout the shoot.

When will I get to see my photos?

You will have the opportunity to see your photos as we shoot, and will be able to choose them the same day.

Where will my photography session take place?

On location, I am available to come to your place of work or we can discuss an alternate option.

How long does the shoot take?

Headshot sessions range from 30-60 minutes, depending on what you are looking for.

Do you provide styling for the shoot?

Select clothing that reflects your personality for your headshot. Fitted clothing that complements your body is ideal, as are neutral colors; however, don't let that deter you from showcasing your style. Amber is here to help if you would like more direction.

What kind of photo products do you offer?

I offer handmade albums bound in luxury Italian leather, matted folio boxes, wall art, and collections of digitals for you to choose from.

Most headshot clients are looking for digital options!

Will my photos be posted on your website? Can my photos be kept private?

All photographs will be kept private until you say otherwise.

How far in advance should I schedule my shoot?

I book my headshots 7-10 days out, so you have time to prepare for your session.
