You chose to get your very own boudoir photography session! This is SO different from anything you've ever done! Both for you or your special honey. You are absolutely excited for this experience of a lifetime, and now it is time to prepare for your photoshoot. But what are the different steps? How do I prepare? Girl, we got you! Let's dig in!

Stage One- I got my mind on my photos, my photos on my mind!

YES, you decided to pamper yourself with your very own boudoir photography session! You researched the perfect photographer for your vision and, Viola! Amber Jones is at your service! You wanted the best, and so you got it! It's time to set up your first over-the-phone session to book your planning meeting! We will discuss everything from your outfits, hair, makeup, vibe, and which photo album you want to keep your beautiful pictures in. How do you prepare for your planning meeting? We will tell you in 3, 2, 1...

BAM! Planning Sesh Time! 

It's time for your planning meeting! What does that entail? Here, we will discuss and pinpoint your vision. It is here you tell us how you would like to see yourself. Black and White? Beautiful pops of color? Any specific themes you would like to incorporate? Common themes we see and love are bridal, military, or hobbies! Well, what is your vibe? How can we showcase your beauty and compliment your personality?

Need help pinpointing your look? We got you! We will ask you to come up with three words to best describe the feeling of your photoshoot. Examples? Already on it! If you are looking for something soft and feminine, your words might be sweet, beautiful, and dreamy. Want something edgier? How about bitey, sexy, and powerful! The words help us capture a specific mood and create a guideline for us to follow to keep to your vision. It is all about YOU and what makes you beautifully YOU! Now, wardrobe time!

Lace, Stockings, Leather Oh My! 

You picked your three words and are getting excited for your big day! Now is one of the most fun parts! Picking out your 5-6 outfits! These outfits will be a complete reflection of YOU and your vision. Need recommendations? Already got you covered! We will send you an email with some of our favorite lingerie retailers, along with other ideas such as props, facials, waxing or and other self-care luxuries! Looking for ideas? We got you!

Remember that soft, sweet feminine look? Whites, light pinks, and pale blues matched with lace or silks will do! Complemented with more delicate makeup and lighter shades of lipstick? Yes Ma'am! 

Not your style? How about something edgier? We think a little more "strappy" will do. Think bold colors, like red, black, or even dark shades of blues. Add a black smokey eye with a sensual dark lip? YAS! Different outfits and makeup choices can help pinpoint and showcase that specific look you want to convey. We have all the tips and recommendations ready for you, and we can't wait to create that look! Now, let's pick a photo album!

Little black book...or VIP! 

We have your three words, your style, what makeup and hair you want. It's time to choose your photo album. Personalizing your album is the most exciting part! You will be shown all our album collection examples and decide which one best suits your wishes. From a 10 photo personal album to a gorgeous, spicy VIP album with 50 of your most glamorous photos and MORE?! - we got you covered! Everything is personalized to YOU! After going over pricing options and payment methods, we do the best part- pick your photoshoot date!  Are you ready?!

Stage Two- Your BIG day! 

Lights, camera, and action! The star of the show has arrived- YOU! We are ready for hair and makeup! We will have all your outfits in your private changing room with your name on your door! You will be offered a glass of champagne and a comfy robe to lounge in while you get dolled up and absolutely pampered. It's all about you, and many argue this was one of their most FAVORITE parts of the experience! When makeup and hair are done, we will do a mirror reveal- you are GORGEOUS! Now we can start the show!

"Now arch your back, point those toes- YAS! BEAUTIFUL!"

It's photoshoot time! You have just changed into your first outfit and will now be shown the first pose. No worries! You will be walked through step-by-step with each pose with continuous guidance. From where to look to how to position yourself from head to toe! One of our favorite parts is demonstrating the different poses ourselves! Helpful tip: No need to work out beforehand or afterward! You will be surprised how much you use your leg and back muscles! Speaking of glamorous muscles…

The first round of photos is finished! Time to change! You started with your most comfortable outfit and are moving up towards your spiciest. No worries, we prompt when it is time to change and always make sure you get all the poses you want for each outfit! Need assistance changing? Either Amber herself or her female assistant will be ready to help upon your request! We are at your service to get your photographs PERFECT! 

Alright! We have just completed your last set of photos in your last outfit! Only then will Amber ask if you would like to have bodyscape nudes done within complete privacy and with the utmost respect and professionalism. At any time, you can slip back into a comfy robe, keep yourself covered as much or as little as you please. This is YOUR day, Queen! We have to admit that bodyscapes are one of our FAVORITE portraits! 

You're done! Time to change back into your regular clothes and set up your ordering session. This is where you will be able to see your photographs for the first time! Your ordering session will take place within 2 weeks of your photoshoot date. You will be able to view ALL of your gorgeous photos in your very own slideshow video! You will then get to select which photos you want for your album. The amount of photos depends on how many you love. No worries, there is always the option of buying additional pictures! We got you! Sometimes it can be so hard to choose!

Stage Three - I Want ALL of Them!

You have chosen your gorgeous photos! How exciting! Within 1 week, you will be sent an album "review" to preview your album and ensure it is absolutely perfect! Here you can make any adjustments needed with Amber. Love it? Hit that APPROVE button and get ready for your album to arrive within 4-5 weeks! Your album can be shipped to any preferred location. After its arrival, you can enjoy and gawk at how BEAUTIFUL you are! 

Would you like to be our client spotlight? Here you can write about your experience showcasing some of your favorite photos from your shoot! We will send you a list of questions that you can answer at your leisure. Ready to be featured on our Amber Jones Photography website? YAS! Anonymous options are available at your choice, and all photos will be confirmed by you before submission. You are our Queen!
