Why I Am a Print Based Studio

There is something so enchanting about holding a printed photo in your hands. With such easy access to cameras today on phones - the novelty of a photo can quickly slip right through your fingertips. I chose to be a print-based studio when I knew that the work behind my photography was intended to capture photos for you that you will longingly gaze at for a lifetime - not simply swipe by on your phone for the occasional glance.

While visiting a photo on your phone from time to time is of course enjoyable and convenient, I want to explain to you my passionate drive behind making the decision to a print-based studio in a digitally dominated age.

“These photos look so much better than on the screen.”

Those are the magic words I hear my clients say time and time again that are music to my ears. It’s true that photographs look better printed than they do on a computer or phone screen - prints illustrate and capture the clarity and depth of a photo that digital alone can’t quite capture.

With fine art printing, we have the power to frame and completely customize each individual print - providing you with the one-of-a-kind piece of art you’ve always dreamt of. This means we can customize any wall art installment to ensure the correct sizing and placement of photographs. In the studio, photographs can be printed in sizes up to 17x22 - for any larger print, I work directly with a professional print house to deliver you the highest quality prints.

“I am so glad I went with the 10x10 album, the photos are so crisp and clear!”

Those words fuel my fire and cause a smile to flash across my face while witnessing my clients flipping through their customized photo albums. These genuine Italian leather bound albums are handcrafted here in the United States. We can even customize the front cover of your album to reflect a special saying or phrase that captures the essence and reason for your photoshoot.

When you hold your photo album in your hand or gaze at the framed photos hanging on your wall, there is something truly so tangible about the experience that you are brought right back to the memories of how you felt the day you had your photoshoot.

I made the intentional decision to be a print-based studio because I’m passionate that my clients deserve more than something that they can see, my clients deserve something they can also feel - both physically and emotionally. When you leave my studio, you aren’t just leaving with photos - you are leaving with an experience.
